If you get the message above it is due to a but in a patch from Microsoft.

#3 The wizard in VLXE does not give a correct locking code
The software has a build in method to generate the locking code needed by the
software to run.
If this method fails it is possible to generate the locking code using a small
utility program.
It can be downloaded here:
Echoid.zip
Use it by unzipping the files. Run Exhoid.exe and send a screen dump of the
popup window to VLXE.
#4 I don't have SQL Server 2005, what do I do?
